Do I have to be a designer to order flowers wholesale?

You DO have to be a designer to place an order.  We offer flowers and foliage to florists and designers only.

How do I know what flowers and foliage are available for sale?

First, you need to make sure that you are signed up for our availability list.  We update our list weekly and send out an email on Tuesday mornings 9:00 am EST with the “Subject: MVFC Availability - Week of…” 

In order to add you to our list, we need your business name, your name and email, your tax ID and a copy of your sales and use tax ID. 

Once you have signed up you will receive our weekly availability and updates from our farmers!

How do I place an order?

Have the password ready! Our SHOP opens each Tuesday during our growing season at 9AM and remains open until the following Sunday at noon. Anytime within that window you can make an order by adding items to your cart and checking out with either a Credit Card or ACH bank transfer.

When items are added to your cart, they will be reserved for 1 hour while you continue to shop the store. If you have not checked out by the end of that hour they will be returned to inventory for others to purchase. So if something you are looking for is sold out, check in again because the inventory is always updating.

When you finish your order, select either Local Delivery or a Pickup option. Our deliveries are typically made on Wednesdays though we can sometimes accommodate other delivery times on a case by case basis. Pickups are available in Dickerson, MD or Union Bridge, MD on Wednesdays from 8AM - Noon.

If you would like to add to an existing delivery order and have already selected Delivery, you will not be charged a delivery fee for the additional orders.

Being a collection of small, local farms, there is a risk that our anticipated inventory for each week could change. If you make an order and the items are unavailable, we will notify you of any changes and do our best to offer adequate substitutions. Your payment method will not be charged until the order has been filled.

After the shop closes on Sundays, the orders will be distributed between our member farms and will be filled for pickup and delivery on Wednesday. This means our customers will have access to available stock from all six farms with only one invoice and one pickup location or delivery charge. 

Then what…?

We have 2 pick up locations:

M + M Plants located at 16415 Comus Road, Dickerson, MD 20842

Cut Flowers by Clear Ridge located at 3400 Lowman Lane, Union Bridge, MD 21791

Orders can be picked up between 8 am - 12 pm. There is NO minimum for orders being picked up.

Do we deliver?

YES! If you are spending $150 or more, we charge $35.

DC Metro region (DC/Alexandria), Baltimore City region.

Northern Virginia region (Fairfax, Loudoun, Clarke, northern Fauquier & Frederick Counties)

Is there a minimum order for purchases?

We don’t have a minimum order for purchases if you are able to pick up at M + M Plants in Comus, Maryland. If we are delivering, the minimum order amount is $150.

What are the weekly deadlines for placing orders and delivery?

We post availability on Tuesdays for the upcoming week.  We take orders until the following Sunday at Noon - This gives us the ability to make sure we have everything harvested and ready for your pickup or delivery on Wednesday.

How do I know what flowers you will be growing in the future?

Due to Mother Nature we can’t always predict exactly when certain flowers will be available. For an idea of what is available each month, check out our lookbook page (password protected and available anytime to those who are signed up for our availability list ).

Can we pre-order flowers?

Yes, please fill out our pre-order form.

Do we provide Custom Growing?

The answer is YES!

Contact us for further information. Custom growing does require lead time, so plan ahead.
